Carrie L. Kellogg
Carrie is a Savannah-based landscape photographer with an eye for detail and a passion for photographing scenes of the South in her signature style.
Carrie grew up in Linton, Indiana and has always loved photography. Her career in Savannah started with drawing and acrylic painting classes. Needing original scenes to paint, she picked up her camera and rediscovered her love for photography. While she has taken several photography classes along her journey, she is really self taught keeping her work original and fresh, as she captures moments in time and saves them for all to see.
Her photographs are stunning and have won many awards both locally and nationally as her work has gained recognition over the years. In addition, she has been published many times including her most recent project for Twin Lights Publishers in Boston. She was delighted to photograph Savannah scenes for their coffee table book, “Savannah, Georgia a Photographic Portrait”.
Carrie is a member of the Telfair Museum, Savannah Art Association, and the Landing Art Association. When she is not at her gallery she is most likely out shooting or traveling, another passion of hers. “It has been a dream come true for me to do something I really love and to share it with others. So many people have been overwhelmingly supportive, kind and loving toward me and my work. I feel truly blessed to live in such a beautiful area and to have the opportunity to do what I love!"
Carrie has been an active partner at Gallery 209 for over 9 years and has her own gallery located Upstairs in the City Market. “Gallery 3 - Carrie L. Kellogg Photography”.
