Carrie L. Kellogg
Carrie is a Savannah Landscape Photographer. Savannah has been her home for over 29 years and feels truly blessed to live in such a beautiful area. Carrie has been a partner in Gallery 209 for over 8 years and served on the board for 6 years. She has her own gallery (Gallery 3 ) Upstairs in City Market.
Carrie is from Linton, Indiana and has loved photography since she was in high school. She took classes from a local portrait photographer and several classes in Savannah. Being from a small town there wasn’t a big demand for landscape photos, so she went to college and earned a degree in laboratory technology. She worked in the medical field for over 18 years. Given the opportunity to leave the lab she began taking painting classes, needing her own material to paint she picked up the camera renewing her love for photography. In the beginning she joined the local art Associations and entered their contest where her work won awards. She then sold photo cards and prints to local merchants. Then the call came to join a City Market Co-op gallery thus starting a great career. Her work has won numerous awards and has been published many times. In May 2013 a company commissioned her to do a Savannah coffee table book titled “Savannah Georgia a Photographic Portrait” which was released May 2015.
When she is not at her gallery or out shooting, she and her husband are traveling, another passion of hers.
“It has been a dream come true for me to do something I have always loved and get to share it with others who have been so overwhelming supportive, kind and loving toward me and my work.”
