Bonaventure Cemetery, Corinne Lawton - Giclee Art Print

$34.00

It's (probably) impossible to visit Savannah, Georgia and not be captivated by the azaleas and beautiful romantic canopies of oak trees, and I painted this image of one of my favorite spots in Bonaventure Cemetery (made famous by "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"). One of the most notable and visited monuments in the cemetery is of Corinne Elliott Lawton, born in 1846 and died in 1877. Her epitaph reads, “Allured to brighter worlds and led the way.” What draws people to Corinne is the beauty of her lifelike sculpture and the powerful sadness depicted within.

8.5" x 11" (21.5cm x 28cm) or 11" x 14" (28cm x 36cm) Giclee print on satin card stock.
