After two decades as a television news anchor, Casey Jones has found his calling behind the camera capturing the iconic scenery of Savannah and Tybee Island. His photography showcases the authentic classic beauty of Georgia’s first city.
Casey is a self-taught photographer who got his start in photography with the 4-H program. He grew up in Blackshear, GA, and graduated from Georgia Southern University.
His work has been selected twice as the cover photo of Savannah: A Southern Journey, a book produced every year by the Tourism Leadership Council. In addition to his landscape work, Jones travels the country photographing corporate events and conventions. He also captures family portraits in Savannah’s historic district and on the beach at Tybee Island.
In addition to his work you have discovered at Gallery 209, you can see more of Casey’s photography at his gallery in The Shops at Tybee Oaks, 1213 U-S 80 on Tybee Island and visit his website at www.caseyjonesphotos.com.
