Sunflower Original

Sunflowers are immensely popular flowers, and it's clear why! These bright and cheerful blooms represent joy, tracing the sun's journey across the sky. Sunflowers exhibit heliotropic behavior, turning their heads to follow sunlight throughout the day. Remarkably, each sunflower comprises over 2,000 tiny florets packed closely together. Not only do they attract pollinators, but they also purify the soil by removing harmful toxins. Surprisingly, they have even ventured into space aboard a shuttle as one of the first plants cultivated there. It's no surprise that these extraordinary plants hold a special place in many hearts.Each Birth Flower Original drawing begins its life as a quick sketch by Erica in her sketchbook. Each sheet is individually torn rather than cut, to preserve the originality of each page. To add a touch of whimsy, small pools of watercolor are added on the paper in shapes that compliment the specific flower. The sketches are then transferred and hand drawn in graphite, creating a series of original drawings that are similar but each have their own individual personality.
