The Hiker, Forsyth Park
$435.00
So much greenery and Spanish Moss packed into one little artwork! It's (probably) impossible to visit Savannah, Georgia and not be captivated by the beautiful romantic canopies of oak trees, and I painted this image of the south entrance of Forsyth Park to capture one such scene. "The Hiker" statue was dedicated in 1931, to the Georgia Volunteers who fought in the Spanish-American War of 1898.
Pen and ink on paper, in white mat, white frame and glass. 17 x 13 inches framed.
